At this event, presented by the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy along with the Minority Participation Committee of the Dallas Bar Association, featured Professor Paul Butler joined by Dallas County DA Craig Watkins, perhaps one of the most progressive District Attorneys in the nation, for a provocative discussion on recent issues in the criminal justice system, including the war on drugs, the "stop snitching" movement, whether people who seek reform in criminal justice should become prosecutors and whether our current rate of incarceration makes communities safer.
